Sweet Club

If you follow my blog you will know I have reviewed a few subscription boxes/services. I really enjoy the mystery of them arriving whether I know what’s inside or not.
Well this time I have to say was an extremely sweet and tasty subscription box from The Sweet Club. It works similar to other subscriptions in that you sign up and have lovely boxes delivered. Obviously this one is sweets and lots of retro yummies that certainly remind me of my childhood.
After signing up you browse the hundred of sweet selections which include chocolates, fudge, sherbet, boiled sweets, chewy sweets and even American sweets plus lots more. You can choose 8 selections in total and if you really can’t decide then they have ready made themed box selections too.
You can then choose fortnightly or monthly box selections and can of course change your selections if you want to try something different.
The first box is £7.95 and after that its £9.95 monthly or £16.50 a month for fortnightly.
So my box arrived and it was very well wrapped and nicely presented, wrapped with tissue paper.

20130905-205553.jpg and inside of course were my delicious sweet selections. I picked mainly chocolate ones including choc cups and choc lick plus some fudge and fizzy strawberry belts and others. The sweet packs are fairly generous in size with a fair amount of sweets inside and remember there are 8 in the box so it’s best not to eat them all at once. I think there is at least 800g of sweets per box so it’s a lot to get through.

20130905-205808.jpg of course I have 3 children tho who are more than happy to help me tuck into these lovely sweets.
I think the cost of joining The Sweet Club is very reasonable as the sweets will certainly last a while and if you think about how much you spend at your local shop on sweets per week then it’s certainly good value. I am however worried I may get a little fat tucking into these little delights.
