Tea drinking is a British institution, a daily ritual for many millions and its been around for thousands of years.
The Tetley brothers went into business in 1837 and introduced the first teabag to Britain in 1953. By 2004 Tetley was also offering various fruit& herbal infusion , green teas and speciality blends aswell as classic blend tea bags.
Every week Tetley buys in over one million kilo of tea which makes countless cups of delicious Tetley that the world enjoys every day.
In our house we drink a lot of tea and Tetley sent us a box of their new estate selection to try free of charge.
Hand picked at high altitude from some of the finest tea estates around Mount Kenya in the Great Rift Valley region the tea experts created this unique blend.
I was slightly wary of trying these at first as I have never been a huge lover of herbal teas but they are not herbally at all.
The tea has a lovely strong rich flavour. It has distinct taste of something tho I can’t quite tell what, but its a lovely tasting tea which I now prefer to the classic (blue packet) blend and other tea varieties.
