The cold Autumn months are not kind to delicate baby skin. Harsh weather can cause chapping, dryness and sores. Add to that teething problems and general dribbling and Izebella ends up with a very sore face.
Weleda Baby have come up with a product especially designed for weather protection called Calendula Weather Protection Cream.
The cream comes in a handy 30 ml size tube in a box. It contains pure Beeswax and gentle Lanolin to provide a natural protective layer. Sweet almond oil and extracts of Calendula and organic Chamomile making it 100% natural with 74% natural ingredients.
It is suitable from birth onwards and can be used by older children too. It is free from any nasties and not tested on animals.
The cream comes out as a yellow gel which blends in easily and provides a non sticky smooth protective layer to her skin.
I found the smell quite pleasant too and the size of the tube means you can put it in baby bags or even handbags and take it with you when out.
I think this will be a very helpful cream especially as Izebella is in the process of getting her first teeth and is not a happy bunny. She dribbles a lot lately and the weather certainly isn’t helping.
