Have you put your tree and decorations up yet or are you perhaps doing it this weekend? Mine went up a few days ago but was a real rush with us just moving house and I actually worried it wouldn’t get done. With a little helping hand from a Tesco and there fab Christmas product range I finally got there.
Tesco have lots of amazing Christmas decorations, whether you want something modern or traditional they will have something everyone likes.
The decorations are also very inexpensive. I spent just over £20 and for that I got a total of 16 items plus it was on express delivery on a day of my choice and delivered to my new house. It arrived all neatly packaged in a big box by a smiling delivery driver. What more could I ask for- no queuing or rushing around shops to find things I can just pick, click and wait for it.
So what did I get your wondering. Well firstly for the tree: all of this.
Oh and not forgetting these as well.
There are baubles, eggs, toadstools, candy canes, angels, Santas, cinammon sticks, icicles and crowns. I went for the rather traditional look with mostly red and gold colours. Finally a star for the top too.
My house is new so the walls are bare however this is what my tree looks like
at the moment with everything on.
I was very surprised at how many things I could buy for £20 and also just how lovely and unique the tree decorations are. I have had lots of people commenting on them and asking where they are from. I think they expect me to say some fancy expensive shop and seem rather surprised when I say Tesco.
I got more than just tree decorations too. I also bought this ornamental gingerbread house.
which sits rather nicely on my display stand. Plus an extra little tree in gold.
Ryan put this small one on our dining table and decorated it his own way. I think he has more or less claimed it as his tree. These come in other colours and they measure 2ft 5 and cost just £3.50. They even come with a stand too and great for small / spare or extra rooms you wish to decorate. Finally I chose an Oval wreath just to hang on a door.
I think these give any home that old fashioned Christmas touch with berries and leaves on it.
Now my home is decorated thanks to Tesco and all for just £20. Unbelievable really when many people spend so much more and get so much less.
