Last year I reviewed Genius products which included a range of breads and rolls which are Gluten free.
Many people for some reason assume that gluten free products don’t taste so good, but when it comes to foods from Genius I have to disagree with them. Especially with the tasty new products they have recently bought out.
Yes that’s right there are now both Croissants and Pains au Chocolat as well as a few other tasty treats available to those who have to have a gluten free diet.
The croissants arrive pre baked and just need popping in the oven for ten minutes or so. They can then be enjoyed with butter and a multitude of different fillings. Either sweet or savoury. I have read of people having them with baked beans. I found them
Very nice with just butter. I don’t eat breakfast, I know I should but rarely get time so instead I enjoyed them for supper. They would be nice any time of the day tho. You will find the Genius gluten free Croissants in Tesco for approximately £2.10. They come in packs of two.
The other delicious anytime treat I was sent was the Genius gluten free Pain au Chocolat again these need baking for ten minutes. Once baked you have a hot yummy soft pastry bursting with melted chocolate inside. You have to let them cool a bit as the chocolate inside will be very hot.
These will also be found in Tesco at £2.70 for a pack of 2.
Overall very delicious warming pastries that taste quite nice at any time of the day and rather hard to believe they are gluten free.

Great to see some gluten free products being reviewed – I am currently being tested for coeliac disease so will be watching closely in case I need to buy my own! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
