Bandai have been adding lots of new toys to both their Power Rangers and Ben 10 ranges. Both being aimed at young boys. The new additions include lots of figures, weapons and play sets that boys will love.
POWER RANGERS MEGAFORCE
First it’s the Power Rangers. Now I have to be honest. When it comes to boys toys and boys super Heros etc I am quite clueless. I can’t tell who is who or what does what. Therefore it’s a good job my son Ryan knows what he’s meant to do with his new toys.
Ryan received a Power Rangers Zord Vehicle with figure. I am told by Ryan that these figures can be used alone or combined with his Great Megazord which he reviewed last year.
The Zord Vehicle looks like one of those futuristic air bike things. When it comes out of the box, it is in several parts which all slot together to make the vehicle. Ryan tells me these parts are the Zords.
The parts seem to slot together easily enough and there are instructions just incase younger children or even adults find it a little difficult.
Once built, it can be taken apart and rebuilt over and over or played with as young boys do, making a whole host of rather strange plane and machine gun noises. If they have the Megazord it can be combined with it or with any of the other Zord Vehicles in the set.
It also comes with Power ranger cards. Ryan says these are for an app and can be scanned? Oh well you learn something new every day ha.
The Zord Vehicle has an RRP of £15.99 and can be found in most good toy shops/stores and supermarkets. You do not need the Megazord with it. The Megazord can be combined with this toy.
As well as the Zord figure, Bandai have also introduced Power Ranger Battle Morphing Figures, Battle Gear Blaster, Ultra Sword, & Ultimate Megazord to it’s Power Ranger toys.
BEN 10
Last year Ryan also reviewed the Ben 10 Omnitrix Shuffle which is basically like a magical bracelet worn by Ben 10 his self in the popular tv show. It works like an alien voice maker by pressing buttons and attaching various collectable alien figures to make different sounds.
Ryan was quite happy to receive another Omniverse collectable figure to use with his Omnitrix shuffle.
There are many different figures to collect and they come with both a collectable figure plus either a small mini figure for the Omnitrix or an accessory. Ryan’s new figure is called HEATBLAST It has bendy moveable joints and comes with a green alien type bonus figure which he can use with the Omnitrix to make alien sounds.
Their are lots of figures in the Ben 10 collection. Starting with the smaller mini figures at £2.49 and the larger figures at £12.99. There is also the new Ben 10 Omnitrix A.i and Omni Link Omnitrix plus a transformation Play set.
Lots to keep the boys amused.
Ryan loves his new figures and will have lots of fun playing with them.
I don’t want to be accused of gender discrimination so I would like to add that there is no reason why young girls cannot also play with Ben 10 and Power Rangers. However I don think Jordanna would be impressed if I gave her these to play with. She would rather have her dolls any day.

My boy is just starting to enjoy toys like these, it’s quite a steep learning curve for me! #TriedTested
Me too. I don’t have a clue about boys toys. I find girls toys so easy to review but struggle with the boys things. It’s a good job my son knows what to do with them x
I’m clueless when it comes to boys toys too…..They joys of having two girls!
They do look like fun toys though 🙂
My 5 year old loves things like this. I have no idea who all the characters are, but he can tell me everything! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
Well I know a little boy who would be thrilled with these. The sudden development to playing with action figures suddenly made him seem very grown up!
