I sit and look at Izebella and think to myself “it doesn’t seem two minutes since she was a tiny baby in my arms) now she is a walking, talking toddler into everything.
Then I look at both Ryan and Jordanna and think the same. It seems like only yesterday they too were babies in my arms and now Ryan is 10 and Jordanna almost 7.
My babies are growing up too fast and sometimes I miss them being babies. I don’t want them to grow up. I want them to stay young, to stay as my little boy and girls.
This September is a big month for us all. Not only is it Ryan’s last year at Primary school before his big step to high school next year, but Jordanna also moves up from infants to juniors or KS2 as it’s now known. Izebella is also likely to get a place in playgroup or nursery around her 2nd birthday in October.
So many changes and things go so quickly. Sometimes I wish there was a way to slow down time, even for just a while and take it all in.
