Towards the end of the school holidays a big box arrived at our door. This big box made my children smile as it contained many bags of very tasty Fairfields Farm Crisps.
These crisps are produced on the family farm using special hand selected potatoes which are also grown on the farm. The potatoes; once sliced are then hand cooked using sunflower oil. They then enter the flavour drum which applies one of many flavoured before being bagged up into 40g or 150g bags.
There are 8 flavours of potato crisps to choose from and we got to try out every one of them. There seems to be a flavour to suit all tastes. Lightly sea Salted, Sea salt & aspall vinegar, Sour cream & onion, Chorizo and tomato, Sea salt and black pepper, Sweet Chilli, Farmhouse cheese & chive, Smoky bacon & Sunday roast potato.
The crisps are full of flavour and are big in size too, hardly any bits or crumbs just big wholesome crunchy crisps. My best flavour is probably the sweet chilli but they all taste great in their own way.
We do have a fair few bags left as we were sent a huge box. These come in handy with Ryan just starting high school who also likes all the flavours.
Fairfields Farm crisps have won various awards for many flavours of their crisps which can be viewed on their Website. The website also contains extra information on the crisp process and more details on individual flavours too.
We all love the Fairfields farm crisps.
