Bizzy Bitz is a new type of construction kit. A little like Lego but instead of bricks it consists of various sized plastic shapes which link and click together.
Although the sets come aimed at kids ages 4-8 years, anyone of any age can have lots of fun with it.
There are many sets to choose from, small and large plus bigger tubs like the one we have. Our tub contains a massive 350 pieces.
Ryan and Jordnna were really excited about the prospect of what they could make out of this tub. I was rather impressed with the amount of booklets and leaflets that come included. There’s 5 in total and each one full of ideas of things to make and build and all with fairly easy instructions.
There seems to be enough pieces for 2 children to make something at the same time, but obviously sometimes one colour of a certain part may run out so they have to improvise with other colours meaning the finished creating looks slightly different to the one in the book. They can of course use imaginations and build their own design.
The pieces click together easily enough and unlike Lego, once clicked together the parts can bend too. We did find the odd piece which just would not go on but with 350 of them it’s easy to find another one.
Ryan made his dumper truck within 15 minutes.
And there’s much easier designs too like this!
It keeps kids busy for some time and is easy enough to take apart. The big box comes in handy to store it all in too.
I can see this being a very popular Xmas buy this year and this particular 350 piece tub seems perfect for homes with more than one child to share.
The tub we have costs £37.99. You can see the other tubs and kits and purchase them directly from Bizzimummy bitz website.
