Winter coats from Didriksons

BRRRR! It’s getting rather cold outside. Icy, frosty, windy and lots of rain. Yes the awful Autumn weather has kicked in along with the dreary mornings and dark nights. It’s time to ditch the short Summer jackets and swap for a warm, waterproof winter coat and especially so for the younger ones.

Didriksons take care of all the families outdoor needs with an ever changing selection of coats, boots and waterproofs. This time it was Jordanna’s turn for a new coat and it’s from the Hamres jacket range.

These jackets are available in six colour designs and Jordanna now has the dark lilac one which is this colour.

I think this is a really good value quality coat. When you think of a brand such as Didriksons you probably expect to pay loads for a coat such as this, but a shoppping search on google brings it up for less than £35 on some websites which is roughly the budget I try to stick to for new coats.

Some of the coats features include the 140g insulation and Jordanna tells me it keeps her really warm outside but without making her all sweaty. It is completely waterproof as with all Didriksons clothing. The hood stays up and can be detached if needed. The hood even has a volume adjuster for a snug fit.

The reflective pads are useful during the dark evenings, especially so on the roads or really dark places. It is windproof as well as waterproof. Didriksons storm system products are designed for very harsh and cold weathers and being in the U.K. we can never be sure what the weather will throw at us from one day to the next.

The coat comes with two big zipped chest pockets and adjustable wrist cuffs. There is also an option to extend the size of the coat by unpicking a seam to increase the arm size and make the coat last longer.

I am very happy with the quality and price of this coat. It ticks all the boxes and is more than suitable for an every day winter coat for school. It keeps Jordanna warm and dry during the cold awful weather.

Didriksons coats and outdoor wear can be purchased from many outdoor gear type stores.
