Raw chocolate snacks from the Raw chocolate company

The raw chocolate company was one of my very early posts when I first started this blog. That was a long time ago and I am pleased to be munching away on their tasty products once again.

These are raw chocolate snacks. If like me your not too sure what raw chocolate is then the process is explained in detail here. To cut it short, raw chocolate is just how its name says, its raw and its organic. The main ingredients in raw chocolate products are organic fair trade raw cacao and organic fair trade virgin cacao butter. When chocolate is made raw it can be a little bitter or too strong to eat so to give the raw chocolate a sweeter taste; natural sweeteners such as coconut palm sugar, fruit powder, vanilla and Xylitol are added.
No milk is added to the raw chocolate or any other animal product making it fine for vegans to eat too. The chocolate does not contain any type of additives or anything artificial making it totally organic and raw.
The Raw chocolate company make and sell both raw chocolate bars and chocolate snacks. The snacks consist of raw chocolate over a selection of nuts and berries. Almonds, ginger, mulberries to name just a few. They look just like many other chocolate nibble type snacks and are good and healthier than regular chocolate snacks  for both adults and children.

The snack bags are 25g and a large bag 110g. These can all be purchased on the website.
As the chocolate is raw and made differently it is more like dark chocolate than the milk chocolate variety that most of us are used to. They do make a white chocolate bar, again with organic natural ingredients but no milk is used in their products.
I don’t mind dark chocolate anyway but I do not like the really dark strong 70% plus cocoa chocolate. It tastes way too bitter and not like chocolate at all. Raw chocolate snacks don’t have that extra strong bitter chocolate taste due to the natural sweeteners used along with the sweetness of the berries used. The stronger taste is the cacao powder dust which many of them are coated in.
They make a nice quick snack for us all. The
