For Mother’s Day this year, we are doing something totally different. Well not so unusual for me, but certainly a first for my children. We are attending the Mother’s Day family rave in Manchester hosted by Big Fish Little Fish events.
Being a keen raver since the tiny age of just 14 years old means that I was very intrigued by these family events. My kids also love the music I listen to, be it trance, hardstyle, techno, dance or old skool so I think they will love it.
This particular event will be held at the Birdcage in Manchester on March 11th. Si Frater will be doing a DJ set. He is a well known DJ and I have been to a few raves and events where he has played.
It’s not just about the music where kids are concerned. Unlike us older ones they would probably get a little fed up if it was just dancing. No there is also an audio visual science show to begin the event along with several play areas, tents, tunnels, craft tables, play doh, colouring, ball pools, tattoos, glow sticks, face painting and so much more. The dance floor will be multi sensory with balloons, bubbles, glitter and even a parachute at the end.
There will be optional extras including stalls & a groove booth and a licensed bar.
So join us this Mother’s Day at the Birdcage in Manchester. Tickets are extremely cheap at under £10 but theses events do sell out fast. Buy your tickets here.
