Feastbox is a recipe subscription box. However it is based around international cuisine and mainly Asian recipes.
Just like many other recipe boxes, you get to choose the frequency and size of your box. The boxes can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly and can be paused and re-started as often as you wish. Box size choices are either a 2 or 4 person box.
I was sent a box for 2 people with a choice of 2 recipes. The recipes can be viewed without subscribing and contain both meat and non meat dishes. There are many curry and tandoori type dishes but also a few south East Asian delicacies to choose from too.
My box arrived with my 2 chosen recipe ingredients and you can watch my video below of me unboxing it all.
I chose a duck and a chicken recipe. Both of them more oriental than Indian. Here is the sweet and sour duck breast dish that I managed to make.
This was actually my first ever attempt at cooking duck from fresh and it turned out really well.
I was quite impressed with the provided ingredients in Feastbox. The chicken and duck fillets both arrived packed in ice and were really good quality meats. The vegetables in individual paper bags and the sauces and other bits in a reusable draw string black bag. Everything was there and the recipe cards were fairly easy to follow.
Feastbox varies in price depending on what size box and how often you want one. However by using this code – BIZZIMUMMY40 you will get a massive 40% discount off your first order. So even if your just tempted to try one once as something different for dinner then you can benefit from a huge discount on your box.
I have never heard of Feastbox before but I do like the sound of it.
Well done with the duck. I have never cooked duck before either x
