Summer dresses at “Their Nibs” plus pyjama giveaway

Published June 21, 2017 by Bizzimummy

Every little girl loves a pretty summer dress and Izebella has a brand new one from Their Nibs.

This dress is part of the French vintage collection. The French vintage print which runs all the way around this dress is inspired by vintage handkerchiefs and painted using soft pink hues. The dress itself seems to take inspirations from the 1950s/60s eras. It has one of those lovely twirly skirts, the type that flare up as the wearer spins around.

It is a lovely light weight material and just perfect for the hot Summer days that we have been having recently. It’s also very pretty and could make a good party dress too.

Izebella is wearing a pair of white sandals which match the dress perfectly, add a small kids clutch type bag or purse and she would be ready for the ball.

I guess the park will have to just do for now!

This dress costs about £30 and there are a few similar ones over at Their Nibs. The size I requested for Izebella was 5-6 years. She’s only 4 but quite tall and as you can see on the pictures, it fits her perfectly. I think it’s always best going one size up.

Their Nibs also sell kids pyjamas amongst many other things and are. They have styles for both girls and boys ages 2-8 years. These cost £20 per pair.

Their Nibs are giving away 2 pairs of their pyjamas. One from the girls section and one for the boys. It is therefore important to state on the entry option which is your preference.

The giveaway will close on July 12th 2017 and open to UK citizens only.

Me&I kids clothing

Published April 19, 2017 by Bizzimummy

With a lot going on over the Easter holidays including – Ryan’s birthday, trips out, Easter, a christening and a few other birthdays, it was time to show off some new outfits with a little help from Me&I. They are a Swedish clothing company who make comfortable clothing items with unique designs.

My girls both wanted a new dress each and Me&I have many lovely dress designs. These are the two we chose.

Jordanna has the Doggie dress which costs £30. The dress is black with a lovely flary skirt, the type that lifts up when spinning. The pattern is multiple pink and green dog images which seem to glow slightly in the dark.

It is very much a party dress and good with a simple black pair of shoes or sandals. It could also be worn as a summer dress.
Izebella has the pink dandelion dress which costs £29. This one is really girly and possibly more suited to a younger girl than older. It falls just below the knee and the white circles all over it represent those white dandelion dead flowers that we all used to love blowing away as youngsters.

Both dresses are lovely, good quality materials and stitching and they both wash well too with minimal ironing needed.

Ryan was not left out either. I do struggle to find clothes for him as he’s now 13 and constantly growing. He’s too small for most men’s clothes and teenage sizes can be hit and miss. I spotted these jeans for him on the website which luckily were available in the larger size of 158/164 which converts to a 12/14 years.

They seem good quality jeans and are actually slightly too long in the leg at the moment but should fit him better soon as he seems to be constantly growing. These jeans cost £35.

Now all three of my kids have something new to wear this Easter thanks to Me&I clothing.

Izebellas new dress: Little Green Radicals

Published December 14, 2015 by Bizzimummy

It’s so nice to get a brand new dress to wear and especially so right before Christmas. It’s even better when your not feeling so good too and a new dress was just the thing to cheer up my poor little Izebella who has yet another virus again.

This is the Pale pink true knit dress, kindly sent over by Little green radicals. It’s really cute and girly and being a Knit dress, means it’s perfect with a pair of tights for the colder months. True knit also implies that the dress keeps its shape after washing, where as most knit garments sadly go out of shape or shrink after first wash, this dress does not.

It really cheered up my little princess when I let her wear her new dress for a night out and everyone agrees she looks gorgeous wearing it too.

The dress fastens at the shoulder with easy fasten buttons. Around the hem is a pretty flower jacquard pattern and the skirt is rather floaty and lifts up when she twirls.

Having this dress on did not stop her jumping up and down on a bouncy castle tho.

Or even dancing the night away and watching Sooty.

This is a beautiful multifunctional dress perfect for any little princess and it’s available in sizes 0-3 months to 7-8 years. Izebella has a size 3 which fits her perfectly.

Rockin Baby

Published December 8, 2015 by Bizzimummy

Look at these gorgeous little girls, all spruced up in brand new clothes thanks to Rockin Baby

Despite its title, Rockin baby sells clothing for both babies and boys and girls up to 10 years. They are also involved in charity work and promise to give an identical item of clothing for everyone bought to various charities around the world, thus helping the children who do not have clothes.

My girls have both been sent an item of clothing each. Izebella has this beautiful Margo pink spotty bubble dress.

It’s very pretty and the material seems very good quality being thicker than most dresses she has. She was sent the size 3 years and this is available from 18 months right up to 10 years. It seems really generous in size and quite long on her. It was a cold day when she wore this so I put some leggings on underneath to keep her little legs warm.

 This dress costs £22.00

Jordanna also received something too and she was sent this Margo stripe bubble dress.

The material again is good thick quality and Jordanna was sent the size 8. I’m not too sure if this is a smaller fit or maybe she needs a bigger size but this one fits her more like a long top than a dress so she has to put leggings on underneath or even jeans. The arms and width fit perfect but it’s a bit short on length for a dress but still very pretty.

This also costs £22.00 and there is still time to order before Christmas. Rockin baby has many other clothing items to choose from too. Take a look over at Rockin baby.

Izebellas new dress: Aurora Royal ” Friendly Ghosts” Applique Denim Pinafore

Published September 19, 2014 by Bizzimummy

Do you remember all my posts of the lovely dresses from Good for Babies. Jordanna and Izebella both really loved all their pretty outfits and enjoyed wearing them throughout the Summer months.
The Summer is almost at an end and
Autumn is drawing in. A large box arrived at our door with more beautiful outfits for my girls to suit the colder season.

The first is worn by Izebella and is a perfect little Halloween dress.

It is a lovely denim pinafore dress with two rather spooky ghosts. It has a ruffle hem line and can be worn over a t-shirt or underneath a cardigan.

Izebella has a 2-3 year size which seems to fit her perfectly. So perfect that she was able to dance and party the night away on a weekend break we recently went on.

This dress is £16.00 and I love it. It’s just so cute and perfect for the Halloween season.

Lots more pretty dresses and outfits to follow very soon.

What Izebella wears day 3

Published June 12, 2014 by Bizzimummy

On our third day of gorgeous outfits from Good For Babies. Today the weather is wet, yet stuffy and warm.

This is today’s beautiful dress. Here we have the Aurora Cherry Blossom dress. This dress is in a red & white gingham pattern. It has a white lace trim. A cherry blossom flower design on the front and fastens with buttons at the back. The dress has a vintage feel to it and is a long fit with a wide floaty skirt and short sleeves.

This dress also comes with the addition of a free necklace with smily charms. Izebella is a little young for necklaces so I am giving this to big sister Jordanna.

Just like my two previous posts. This dress is part of the new “Summer Delight”
range at Good for Babies. This dress costs £16.90 and in sizes 2-5 years.

The dress is designed for Summer but could easily be worn on a colder day with the addition of a cardigan and tights, making it a perfect all year round outfit. It’s so pretty too.

Good for Babies: What Izebella wears

Published June 10, 2014 by Bizzimummy

I was overwhelmed by the lovely outfits my girls got to try out a week or so ago from Good For Babies.
The clothes are very pretty and good quality too.
Last week Izebella was sent a collection of new outfits in the a Summer range. This week I will be posting a different outfit everyday. This of course obviously depends on the British weather as they are all Summer outfits.
Elena is the owner of Good For Babies. She names this collection of outfits “Summer Delight”. All the outfits are made from quality seercucker cotton and they do not require ironing.
All the outfits which I will be featuring over the next few days only cost between £16-£18 each and are available for girls from 0-5 years.

So here we go with the first one.

A very beautiful lime green striped smocked dress from the Aurora range. The dress fits Izebella very well and the lime green seems to be a colour that suits her well.
The dress has a broderie anglaise type ruffle around the shoulders and chest. The sleeve ends are in a pretty wavy design and a pattern of pink flowers goes all around the dress hem, sleeves and collar. The dress is fastened via buttons at the back.

The skirt on the dress is quite wide and floaty. Overall a perfect Summer dress.

This beautiful dress costs £15.90. More details here
More outfits will follow soon.

Joe Browns Florian Cafe Dress

Published May 28, 2014 by Bizzimummy

Joe Browns was founded in 1998. They sell original and casual clothing for both men and women which won’t be found on the high street.
Many of their designs incorporate a very vintage twist, cleverly combined with modern elements.
The styles change regularly to match the season. You may recall last year I did a poston a beautiful Autumn dress. I absolutely love my Basil dress but the season is changing and it’s time for something more Summery.
Joe Browns contacted me once again to see if I would like to try something from their new Summer range. As I love wearing dresses I chose this Florian Cafe Dress

The dress is apparently inspired by a beautiful cafe found in Florence. The colour is infact duck egg; which to me, appears to be a mixture of subtle blue and grey, with perhaps the tiniest tinge of green. The dress has an approx length of 90cms with a ruffle skirt which falls just above the knee. The floral pattern on the dress is what makes it stand out.

When I first put the dress on I wasn’t too sure if it was really my thing or whether it looked ok. It is certainly different to what I usually wear. This dress certainly enhances the bust and makes them look bigger; at least in my opinion. The skirt is floaty and ruffled and therefore great for hiding away those mummy tummies like mine.
The sizes seem really generous and large so do not be tempted to go a size bigger than your usual size in this dress as it will probably be too big.
I like the colour, again it’s totally different to what I usually wear. I usually go for black, white or pink so it’s nice to try out something different.

After wearing it a few times, I am starting to like it a bit more. It too has a slight vintage twist to it and I would also say a hippy edge. It sort of reminds me of the whole “Summer of Love” theme being floaty, ruffled and colourful.
At £29.95 I would say it is certainly worth the cost. It can be worn for a casual Summers day or dressed up with a few accessories for a special occasion.

Good For Babies #3

Published May 22, 2014 by Bizzimummy

This is my third and final post for my lovely bundle of girls clothes received from Good for Babies.
I was sent a lovely selection of dresses, clothing and accessories for my two girls. I have already done two posts previously as there were too many items for one post alone.

So first there are 3 beautiful dresses for Jordanna.

First is a Smocked lime green peacock dress. This dress costs £28 and available in sizes 1-6 years. The dress comes with short ruffle angel sleeves, a round neckline, back buttons and a beautiful peacock embroidery on the chest. It is slightly big on Jordanna at the moment. I think she is short for her age. Hopefully in a few months it will fit better.

Next and probably my favourite one is a Red polka dot puffed sleeve dress

This pretty dress also has the short puff sleeves, back buttons and has a Peter Pan collar. I love the pretty embroided bows to the front. It’s a very girly dress and would be nice for a party.
This dress costs £28.00 and comes in sizes 2-6 years.

Finally for Jordanna and also a part of the Aurora range. A very stunning Pink Gingham hand smocked dress

It is a beautiful design and these are very generous in size as it is a little big on Jordanna. It looks very old fashioned and makes Jordanna look very pretty and girly I think.

It also costs £28 and comes in sizes 2-6 years.

Now finally something for Izebella.

A gorgeous cute Sleeveless Pink Bunny dress. How cute is this? Just perfect for all the lovely Summery days we have had recently (shame about today). The front of the dress has a big bunny on which Izebella calls a cat. There is a girly pink and white polka dot pattern at top and bottom of dress and buttons at the back.
The 2 year size fits Izebella perfect. Other sizes available from 12 months- 4 years and it’s priced at £16.50.

We all love the beautiful collections of clothing at Good For Babies.

Izebella & a beautiful Poppy England Dress

Published May 7, 2014 by Bizzimummy

Poppy England have sent over a beautiful Summery dress for little Izebella to wear.

This stunning dress bears the title Martha Sage and like all the other dresses at Poppy England it has a very vintage edge to it.

The inspiration for the dresses at Poppy comes from drawings of Poppy and her dog Fred. The drawings and creation of Poppy are the work of owner Bryony, which are then made into little story books. A story book will accompany each dress that is purchased.
Our storybook is Catching Butterflies and this can be seen within the amazing fine detail of the dress.

The Martha Sage dress is one of Poppy’s classics and it is not hard to see why. With stunning fine details and a lovely colour, every little girl will certainly stand out wearing a dress like this.
The dress has lots of room around the waist and has a sash at the back to loosen or tighten as needed. It is a very versatile dress. It can be worn alone or with a little top or cardigan. Poppy sells many little matching garments that would complete the look.
The dress comes in many sizes from 6 months right up to ten years. For Izebella I chose size 2-3 years and even tho she does not turn 2 until October. The dress seems to be a perfect fit.

This dress arrived at the perfect time as we had a christening to attend, meaning it would be the perfect opportunity for Izebella to show it off and she certainly did. I had several people commenting on how beautiful the dress is (as well as Izebella of course) and many people asking where I got the dress.

It sure is a head turning dress and would be a perfect choice for weddings, parties and many occasions.

Poppy England can be found across your social networks. Please follow these links to follow them and keep up with their new designs.
